But instead we took Nesakwatch Creek Road.
Then a small road on the right of the road with a signed post at its entrance shows the start of the trail. After 200 meters there is a bridge over Nesakwatch Creek. Well, as you can see, the bridge was washed out :(
Go to PLAN B. We come back to the road and we decided to walk on the Forest Service Road. This road ends on the border with the States (another 10 kilometres). Here there are some climbing routes to Illusion Peaks and a trail to Mount Rexford. The hikes on Chilliwack are very steep and you need to arrive very early if you are not planning to spend the night on the peaks. Hopefully I will meet Mount Rexford next year.
Why not a last visit?
In the meantime Baby and I had some fun on the meadows.
And the sunset came, Lady Peak got a red-orange. It's not fun to drive on the backcountry at night but at least I got what I wanted.
